Shopify migration planning and URL redirects

SCOPED SERVICE · REMOTE · FR / EN

Plan the move before changing the store your customers rely on.

For businesses moving from another platform or reorganizing an existing Shopify catalogue.

Request a proposal

What the engagement can cover

  • Inventory the agreed products, collections, pages and integrations; identify what can be transferred and what needs rebuilding.
  • Map important old URLs to relevant destinations and prepare redirects where supported.
  • Define checks for catalogue data, navigation, links, analytics and the launch sequence.

Deliverables to agree on

  • A migration scope and responsibility checklist.
  • A URL mapping sheet and redirect plan.
  • A test, launch and rollback checklist tailored to the agreed scope.

How to get started

  1. Describe your goal and context.
  2. We confirm scope, deliverables, estimated hours and schedule.
  3. You approve the proposal before work begins; additional work is agreed separately.

What to prepare

Bring the current website, export options, key integrations and target launch window. Account access and data ownership must be confirmed before any transfer.

Scope and limitations

Passwords, historical orders, subscriptions and app-specific data may require separate tools or may not be transferable. No promise of zero downtime or unchanged search rankings. Paid apps, licences and implementation are scoped separately.

The proposal specifies pricing in Canadian dollars and applicable taxes. An enquiry does not commit you to a purchase.
