If you place the scratcher where there is some air movement your kitty won't be able to resist it. And, this scratcher has a mouse hole with mouse! Well, a ping pong ball that acts like a mouse. When your kitty probes in the 6" deep hole for the ball it rolls up and away, then when she removes her paw from the mouse hole the ball comes back with a "pong" sound. The ball "mouse" can not be removed from its hole. Your cats will be fascinated by it and will not tire of trying to capture it. Your cats will love this scratcher with critters!
