TFH The Biology Husbandry and Health Care of Reptiles (Vol.3)

this book was compiled and edited by Lowell Ackerman DVM, and he contributed numerous chapters within. However, literally dozens of other qualified authors have contributed chapters covering the topics in which they are experts. In addition, brief biographical data and contact information is provided for each contributing author. Each chapter ends with a detailed list of references for further reading. This is the shortest of the 3 volumes that make up the set at approximately 200 pages. This is not a shortcoming however, as the information is presented clearly and is more than complete. Volume 2 provides a wide overview of the basic techniques and concepts of modern herpeteculture. Although there is some species-specific care information, this book is best viewed as a general overview.
