Aton IRL2 Infrared Code Capture Device For PC

The IRL2 is an infrared code capture device specifically designed for system integration professionals. This device easily connects to a PC via USB and provides the necessary tools that allow creation of re-usable programming databases in the most efficient and reliable way possible. The IRL2 is designed to work together with the infrared library manager that is included as part of the Configurator software program. Item included with the IRL2 are listed below as well as system requirements for the PC used for programming:

Items included in IRL2 kit:
• 1 x IRL2 infrared learning device
• 1 x USB to mini-USB cable (6 foot length)
• 1 x Quick Reference Guide

PC requirements:
• System: Windows Vista, XP, or 7 (32 & 64 bit OS)
• Connection: Mini-USB
• Free Disk Storage: At least 50MB of free disk storage
• Screen Resolution: 800 x 600 with 256 colors minimum
• Control: Mouse or equivalent

Software requirements:
• ELAN Common Resource Library
• ELAN Configurator
• Sunfire Suntools
• ATON AH66T Tool

Operating Guide:
1.Connect the IRL2 to your PC using the USB cable provided.
2. Place the IRL2 on a flat surface next to your PC.
3. Place the remote control to be captured toward the back of the IRL2 facing the indicator named IR IN SENSOR.
4. Enter the CAPTURE mode within the software.
5. Press and hold the remote control button you want to learn and verify that the IR IN DETECT flashes.
6. You may test the function learned in the previous step by pressing the TEST button on the front of the IRL2 while pointing at the device being controlled (less than 15 feet away). Be sure to point the FRONT of the device labeled IR OUT toward the device
